Limitless.
My client Babak is crushing his workouts even with a partially amputated leg above the knee (AKA). He practices law working a minimum of 60 hours a week, is a husband and father of 2 boys. He still manages to make time to train with me 3x per week and rarely misses a workout!

SuperStar Surgery.
“Our Daughter Caroline is a Level 10 gymnast. She suffered an ankle injury requiring surgery, and she worked with Gail to maintain and build strength and conditioning during recovery. Caroline really enjoyed working with Gail and returned strong, qualified for Nationals and is now being recruited for college gymnastics. Gail’s gymnastics experience combined with her training skills was the perfect combination for Caroline!”

Playing With Parkinson’s.
“I am 83 years old and have been living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) for ten years. I have been an athlete all my life, but even though I was working out regularly with trainers on the machines at a local gym, I could feel the PD starting to win. When the gym closed because of COVID, my wife had the enormous good fortune to find Gail.
Gail began by helping us convert a basement room in our house into a gym, showing us how to convert doorways into exercise systems and use the random weight sets we had accumulated over the years. She then began developing an exercise regiment specifically aimed at my particular issues. The first problem she addressed was my posture—a common problem in PD. When this improved, she moved on to address my overly tight hamstrings and Achilles tendons as well as my problems with balance. I expect these will improve as my posture did.
Let me say something important about Gail. When you get older you start to accumulate a list of problems and weaknesses. I, for example, have had a knee replacement, the surgical rebuilding of a foot, and ....the list goes on. You probably have a list of your own. It’s natural for people like us, confronted with someone as fit and strong as Gail, to be intimidated. Don’t be. She understands our problems at a very deep level, and wants to help us function as well as we can no matter what our limitations are. She really cares!
I wasn’t in particularly bad shape when I started working with Gail, but my workouts had no direction, no purpose. With Gail this changed, and I could see clear improvement in a matter of months. I even feel that I’ve taken back some of the things that I thought had been lost forever to PD. I practically burst into tears the first time I was able to get up from a chair without extra support, for example.
So as my 83rd birthday approached, my wife began suggesting presents—an Armani suit, a new car, etc. My reply was simple: all I want are more sessions with Gail.
Enough said.”

Superman 60’s.
“I get comments all the time at the gym about my physique and what program I follow. And the answer is “ I have one of the top trainers in the Mid-Atlantic area and I do what she tells me, simple.” Although I have been working out for decades, the 8 pack abs and ripped body had always eluded me. After surgery for two torn tendons, I committed myself to find a high level trainer that looked the part and could deliver the results – well, six months after meeting Gail, one year following my surgery I had reshaped my body.
Gail quickly identified weak spots and gave me focused exercises to correct imbalances, strengthen neglected muscles and prevent injury. She tailors the workouts to your goals and abilities. I cut my waist down to 31 from 35”, developed stronger, defined quads and back muscles and converted fat to muscle. I shocked my friends with my “after” pictures.
My wife and I drive an hour each way to train with Gail, but she is top in her field and worth the results. I’ve had a number of trainers over the years, Gail is hands down the best.”

Poppin Bride.
Jess attended Orange Theory classes and went on long walks and jogs on a regular basis. However, that wasn’t cutting it. She hired Gail to give her that extra push and dietary attention to help her look and feel her best for her big wedding day.
Balancing Act.
“Before I started training with Gail I was in a rut spending most of my time balancing two kids and work and not enough time investing in my own health. Gail helped me tremendously to figure out how to add exercise into my busy schedule. She has a wonderful and encouraging energy. Each week, I look forward to our sessions together because I know I will have a great workout and Gail is non-judgmental, always positive and she inspires me to stay on track. I would recommend Gail to anyone who is looking to get back into a regular workout schedule, to build your knowledge of exercises and how the body works, and to have fun while doing all of that!”

Shoulder Injury.
“I have been working with Gail for over a year and have had remarkable results with an old left shoulder injury. After our initial introduction, I felt Gail grasped the extent of my injury and what was needed to develop a working program to get my shoulder back to a healthy state. I found Gail had a good working understanding of the body from her own personal experience as an elite athlete and very knowledgeable about what was involved in the healing process. I find Gail to be fun, committed, flexible, animated and very professional and would highly recommend her as a trainer.”

Senior Dementia.
“I can't say enough good things about Gail's training and her ability to work with people of all ages and fitness levels.
First - she worked with my 86 year old mom who has alzheimers and dementia. She made my mom very comfortable (not an easy task), took the time to observe and understands mom's level of fitness, and leveraged her experience to customize a routine that was just right for mom. Within 3 sessions we saw improvements in mom's physical condition.
Second - On the other end of the spectrum, I'm in great shape and had the opportunity to have Gail train me at mom's home too. Despite the fact that there is no workout equipment at mom's house, she used bodyweight exercises and bands to train me and we had great workouts!
I would highly recommend Gail to people of all ages and fitness levels!!”

Fit And Fabulous.
“I decided to join my local health club and make a commitment to exercise regularly. I had no idea about weight training I was always a "cardio" person so that's what I stuck too.
I would pick up health magazines and see these super fit fitness models and think to myself "they must eat salad all day"" or workout for hours and hours a day and that's just not me. Shortly after a few works at my new gym I decided cardio wasn't pushing me and giving me the results I truly wanted which was a tight and tone curvy body. A staff member pass along Gail's business card to me and I will never forget the high remakes he have Gail.. That she was a awesome and passionate person trainer and really down to earth.
I called that same day and we meet the following day. We discuss my concerns and goals I had for myself.
From my first very session I knew Gail was worth the money paid and the she really knew your craft as a personal trainer well. It's been over 7yrs And my fitness lifestyle has never been better!!!
Gail help every me build a body that I wear proudly. She showed me fitness can fun and rewarding!! I learn workouts and healthy eating regiments that I will carry on in my life forever! I give her endless credit to the strong and sexy tone physique I flaunt this current day. Gail was with me every step of the way always available outside of the gym for my questions and concerns so we could reach my goals. If you have a desire to change your fitness lifestyle there is no Challenge this knowledgeable and kind hearted Women can't help with. I'm living proof of what she capable of creating :) ”

With Excellence.
“Gail Kachura is one of the most excellent personal trainers serving the Washington, DC area. I had the pleasure of working with her twice; first as part of a pure physical fitness program and the second as part of a continuation of rehabilitation from a vehicle accident. Gail takes a very holistic, comprehensive, and friendly approach to meeting the needs of her client. Her plan is lifestyle-centric, taking care to assess not only your physical situation, but your mental, nutritional, and lifestyle as well. Gail is continuously aware of the goals that YOU set, and her encouragement is continuous. Her assessments are technical but never the focus of workout itself. This approach and style keeps the big picture in focus and is palpable in every workout. She goes beyond the usual mechanics of a workout routine to remind you that it is the total environment and your mental state that affects our ability to achieve our peak fitness potential. Not least to mention the endless energy and friendly disposition that she brings to every session! In short, Gail’s high caliber of character, welcoming demeanor, and keen fitness expertise set her well above the others. I highly recommend her for your fitness needs.”
